26/07/2023 (Singapore) - Climate tech startup Zuno Carbon secured US$2.5 million in seed funding, led by Wavemaker Partners, alongside SEEDS Capital and Blue InCube Ventures. This followed their pre-seed round last year, bringing the total funds raised to over US$3 million in the past 12 months, as the company expanded globally.

Zuno Carbon's ESG management platform, Veridis, offers detailed tracking of greenhouse gas emissions and reporting. It stands out with its comprehensive emission sources database and AI-powered analysis, providing higher quality decarbonisation insights compared to other solutions.

CEO Hari Nair stated that Veridis addresses challenges in climate-related disclosures and Scope 3 emissions monitoring. It empowers companies to reduce carbon emissions effectively by identifying key areas to tackle.

Andy Hwang, General Partner at Wavemaker Partners, praised Zuno Carbon's real-time emissions monitoring and comprehensive reports, believing it will set a new standard for emissions tracking and reduction.

Veridis has been deployed in challenging sectors like oil and gas, logistics, and real estate, making a significant impact on reducing carbon emissions in Singapore, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia.

Since its establishment, Zuno Carbon has received multiple accolades and participated in programs by Google, Shell, and Microsoft. The US$3 million funding will support their sales, marketing, and the launch of new features to simplify compliance and drive decarbonisation efforts.
