08/09/2023 (Malaysia) - Tesla, the renowned electric car manufacturer, occasionally explores unique ventures beyond automobiles. One of its recent additions is the Tesla "Cyberspoon."
This exclusive accessory was introduced in China, drawing inspiration from the yet-to-be-released Cybertruck in collaboration with McDonald's China. The Cyberspoon was designed to complement the McFlurry, and McDonald's even unveiled special Cybertruck-themed packaging for this beloved dessert during their promotional campaign.
The Tesla Cyberspoon was a limited edition offering, with only 50,000 units made available to consumers. Interestingly, this accessory, although unusual, garnered attention, even from Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, who initially thought it might be a hoax.
Surprisingly, the unreleased Cybertruck had already become a source of inspiration for various products.
Tesla had previously ventured into creating an official Cybertruck-inspired lifestyle product known as the Cyberwhistle. This limited edition item featured the iconic silhouette of the all-electric pickup, complete with a polished finish. Notably, it was crafted from medical-grade stainless steel, a wise choice over automotive-grade material.
The availability of the Cyberwhistle in Malaysia remains uncertain, considering Tesla's presence in our market. For those interested, this "premium collectible" is currently listed on Tesla Singapore's online store for SGD70, approximately RM240.
While the actual release of the Cybertruck in Malaysia remains undetermined, it's worth mentioning that Tesla Malaysia's website already has a dedicated section for it. This leaves room for the possibility of its eventual introduction in the country. As the saying goes, never say never in the world of business.
